Guest guest
I recently went in for some labs and found that my; T3 Uptake was 22.1 Free T4 (Thyroxine) was 0.60 TSH 38.7 I'm wondering if this is indicitive of my thyroid trying to function? ie.. with my TSH so high? Reason I'm asking.. is my T3 is now in range.. it's just my Free T4 is a little low considering a range of (0.73 - 1.95). Thanks for your thoughts.. Nice to hear from you all again.. The T3 test is an uptake..what you really need is the Free T3 test run.. also the range for the T3 would help. My guess with a high TSH and Low T4 is that the T3 may soon follow , so even though you posted you are feeling great, make sur eyou do follow up labs in 4-6 weeks if not sooner.. Guest guest
This is more indicative that your thyroid is continuing to slide downhill and is NOT working. Look at that huge Thyroid Stimulating Hormone. It's way up there, trying to shake something out of your thyroid that simply isn't there, so it continues to shake shake shake the thyroid. THAT'S why the T(Thyroid) S(Stimulating) H(Hormone) is up, thyroid ISN'T working. That's the way the feedback cycle works, before being on proper thyroid meds in proper amts.
