Guest guest
Has anyone noticed your memory loss, lack of concentration, exhaustion, and/or klutzyness getting worse a few days before your period starts? Guest guest
First of all no thyroid dx here. That said, I certainly have noticed my feeling considerably worse just before my period (and an odd few occasions, just right after). I have had a few sore throats crop up just before my period. Prior to feeling bad, after the birth of my first child (16 years ago)...I NEVER experienced PMS etc. My period would come along without pain, no big deal. [before the birth of her, I used to experience so much pain the first few days of my period to the point of breaking out in a cold sweat and vomitting. Sometimes, things moving in both directions.] Since I have not felt well...everything becomes much worse before my period. I am do up for another period (just finished one days ago-current BCP obviously are too much for me)...time to buckle up, again. ~Kate > > Has anyone noticed your memory loss, lack of concentration, exhaustion, and/or klutzyness getting worse a few days before your period starts? > > Sheila > > > --------------------------------- > Ahhh...imagining that irresistible " new car " smell? > Check outnew cars at Yahoo! Guest guest
- Hi Shelia You know...I have just started to document my symptoms and have noticed an increase of symptoms closer to my MCycle. Who knows, huh? I do notice that this week got easier when I paid attention to getting to bed earlier and relaxing more with a cup of tea. I am newly DX hypo, 35 and mother of 2. i do feel that my hypo cam on after my 2nd was born. She is now 2.5. I have started taken Glucosomine to eleviate the aches and pains. I have continued my yoga and the more consistent I am with my exercise the better I feel. I am also keeping a positive attitude and trying not to dwell to much on it until more of my tests results come in. I recently had an RAIUptake this week. Keep your chin up! I know on the Grave's board the same question has been asked and even those with hysterectomies etc have been charting and there is a definite relation but the magic answer is ??? One piece of info that we came up with is estrogen competes in the liver for T4 receptor cells..as you get older progesterone drops and estrogen increases but also during a monthly cycle Estrogen cycles. Guest guest
Sheila, yes I HAVE noticed my PMS getting worse now that I have no thyroid. I am on synthroid & sometimes I just feel that ANY additional strain on my body now just wears me down. I include PMS in this " additional strain " category, along with things like my current affliction, a sinus infection, etc. It just seems like things take longer to heal now, & that I am just exhausted any time something is " going on " with me. I hope that makes sense. Thanks for sharing this because it makes me feel so much better knowing I am not the only one! I wish I could just up my doseage a little when these things were happening because I sure as heck can't just find time to " rest more " ...! :)K Has anyone noticed your memory loss, lack of concentration, exhaustion, and/or klutzyness getting worse a few days before your period starts? > > Sheila > > --------------------------------- > Ahhh...imagining that irresistible " new car " smell? > Check out new cars at Yahoo!
