Guest guest
Amber, Hi I am not a soda drinker but why would the throat swell after soda. Thanks, Bernetta "Complex carbohydrates are also known as starches and are made of three or more linked sugars. Grains such as bread, pasta, oatmeal and rice are complex carbs, as well as some vegetables like broccoli, corn legumes such as kidney beans and chick peas. They take the longest to digest." ---Taken from About.com. For me, breads and pastas are hardest to process, which is a downer because they provide wonderful amounts of energy. Just pay attention to how your body reacts when you eat different foods....Do you usually get exhausted after eating spaghetti, for example? The pasta may be a 'trigger' food. Does your throat feel as if it were swelling after you have a soda? That may be something you want to avoid.
