Guest guest
If you google thyrotoxicosis you will see that atrial fibrillation can be caused by Graves disease/thyroid, a number of things can cause AF not just that one, but its a possibility to consider so maybe need to check with Dr. I have a heart history and had surgery for a condition in 91 which resolved things, then in 2003-4 ....My own heart went really bad on me so I could not move at all without it misbeating and tapdancing in my chest, the beats also felt extremely weak, and I was told it would take 18 months to see a specialist on nhs, so I researched for myself, diagnosed myself (later proved right) and sought relief from natural sources. I tried magnesium etc, but what REALLY worked for me, and worked beautifully, is coenzyme q10. I started with one 30mg tablet, and worked up, and for me, the right amount was/is 90mg a day, which I take 30mg 3xdaily research it yourself and of course check with Dr/pharmacist it wont conflict with anything, you know the safety drill Im sure ;-) and if in USA try iherb online for supplements as they are well cheap, but no good for UK people because of taxes etc Anyway, within a few days of taking q10 my heart settled and has behaved remarkably well ever since. I actually felt my heart get stronger, and when I told the cardiologist I eventually saw, and who diagnosed the AF via the ecg machine, he said I wasnt the first to tell him of q10. Outcome is I am NOT on any medications for the condition because it is so well controlled by the q10 and he told me go away and only come back if it worsens again and I need help/treatment I wont be without this supplement now, I feel certain it saved my life, literally, as my heart itself felt weaker and weaker and not just the beats being all over the place, I cannot tell the change it has made for me, and even now, with this new dx of hypo its still holding remarkably steady.
