Do realize the labs have a large range, so it would depend on where you

sit in the range and also where you feel your best in the range as we

all have individual set points.

Do you have labs and ranges to share so we can have a little more of an

idea and hopefully we can help you from there.

Yes.

Most docs check only the TSH level and if it falls within 'normal range'

(and a lot of docs/labs are using the outdated range) they won't go ahead

and check the thyroid hormones regardless of the patients symptoms.

If you have a copy of your labs and can post the results, with lab

ranges, here... we'd be able to give you a heads up on what they actually

say.

What symptoms do you have?

I was almost to the end of what you wrote, wondering why you were writing about me.....

You're still very hypo... time to look closely at your dosage... I'd venture to say that a look at your labs, by someone that knows what to look for, is gonna show your dose is too low.

thank you all i have told the doc for years that i have had a thyroid for year but they said i was fine even as a baby i had these problems i was born in march and in hot june i still had to to be in long heavy gowns and blankets and hats as a kid had these health problems and the doc said it was just part of grown up growing pains as they said. and in thoes days what ever the doc said was it no questions asked. even with the peroid and now with the hysterectomy things are still not good . and as the nodule 3 years ago on the right side it was 7mm but now 3 years later it is 1cm the frist doc wanted to do a follow up even tho it was not cancer so then i was haveing problems they finly set me off to have a uptake scan and found it had grown and the other side has them now to the largest one beeing .06mm in size but the doc are stead fast on the med they are giving me 125mcg of levothyroxin how to i get them to change it they just say you are fine and we live in a area where you have to take what you get . and have not had the needle thig as last time it hurt so bad that i don't want to do it again . and if it was not cancer last time whay do they need to redo it . and the doc i have now thinks it is nothing anyway . maybe redo the test so he can see where we are at and go from there.

thanks all for letting me know that i am not alone
