Guest guest Posted February 18, 2007 Report Share Posted February 18, 2007 A friend of mine from church has to start treatment again for bc Her doctor has advised her to quit her job we live in Florida, this state does not believe in Illiness She needs help with paying for medical treatment. until her medicare kicks in, she is on Chemo now, but needs some more medical help in the future. Also have her check with the American Cancer Society plus check with the officials of her county. I will keep her in my prayers. Guest guest Posted February 18, 2007 Report Share Posted February 18, 2007 Jan This might not be of much help, but I know a lot of people from churches will hold a fundraiser or even just let the parish community know of the situation and have a special collection taken up, unbeknownst to your friend so that doesn't choose to accept it. We all know, it takes a village, and this is so true..... Good luck and I will keep your friend in my prayers...I hope something will work out sooner than later.
