Guest guest
I don't want to look like Britney Spears! Have any of you seen this yet? She shaved her head. Now, either we are all Britney wannabes or Britney is a chemo-head wannabe. LOL! What do you think? Lucinda

Guest guest
What surprised me, or didn't, was that she didn't even bother to donate her hair. She is so incredibly selfish, and she did it for publicity because ANS is overwhelming her, and mocking people who have rad and chemo. That's how I feel. If she lost her hair unwillingly, she'd have a whole different outlook on the subject and probably NOT get taoos after. She disgusts me. Pat Re: But. Mom....! ha ha Britney.....eat your heart out! Guest guest
i'm not upset with her--i know that when i buzzed my hair--it was the only empowering thing i could do at the time--when everything else felt beyond my control; when i felt--betrayed--yes, betrayed would be the word - by my body; by my life; by the cosmos - buzzing my hair was an active, powerful thing for me to do... perhaps it was the same for her--perhaps she feels like her life is out of control; perghaps she needed to make some kind of move--to re- establish control...i dunno - hair, for women - culturally it's very much a part of how we see ourselves; how we experience our femininity- -to shave that off might have been a personally empowering thing for her... jmho marisa > > I don't want to look like Britney Spears!
