Guest guest
Hello, everyone! even though I haven't been posting the last few days, I have still been reading. I signed the petition for the bill before congress about the 48 hours and forwarded it to all of my family who was unaware of the bill. I have just been trying to get some paintings done, not think too much since I am going through all this trouble at the moment. My mother of course was with me when I saw the surgeon and was quite upset by it. I walked out of the appointment feeling very bad as you all know from my last post, and thought well I will just let it all go until things get worse in any way. Surprisingly Today I received a letter from the UF Shands Radiology Department, I am scheduled for 3 CT scans next thursday, of the neck, chest and abdomen. I am very confused now, I did not push for this, I shut up at the Dr's office and just left quietly. Nothing has changed physically, but from what the surgeon said the MRI did not show cancer in the lymph nodes, did show two lumps in the left breast that they feel are just simple small fibroadenomas. So why did they go ahead and schedule these CT scans? I can't pay for them, and am on the charity care program so if its no big deal, just something that I need a repeat MRI of in 6 months then why send me for such expensive test's? just thought some of you might have some thoughts on this hope your all having a good day Hugs Lori ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Now that's room service! Guest guest
Lori, A lot of drs send their patients for different tests just to be sure the cancer hasn't spread if there is any. Won't the charity care program pay for the tests? I will continue to keep you in my prayers.
