Guest guest
Not me... mine slow... when they had me 'bottom' out after RAI, that six months I was tested every week to see if there was any return of gland function my reflexes became slower and slower. At that point in time when the doc bonked my knee and then did a ten second count before my leg kicked she declared my gland completely dead. My labs during that time showed a consistent drop in hormone levels as my body used up the excess, I'd been in thyroid storm for a year before being diagnosed, and just never came back..... I've never been that bad since.. but my reflexes and reaction times improve when my levels are good and decline when they are bad. I have a personal suspicion that reflexes are linked to adrenal health/function. A reflex action is a protective/defensive action, performed immediately and without thought.. that is all linked with adrenal surge, defense and coping.... Comments??
