She will do a parent Question and Answer session but all are welcome. Chicopee Public Library 449 Chicopee Street Chicopee, MA 01020 Velleman, Ph.D., CCC-SLP is an assistant professor in the Communication Disorders Dept. at the University of Massachusetts - Amherst. She has a bachelor's degree from Wellesley College, Master's degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and a doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Velleman's research interests focus on normal and disordered child phonology, including childhood apraxia of speech. Dr. Velleman is the author of numerous articles on phonology as well as the book, " Making Phonology Functional: What Do I Do First? " (1998) and " Childhood Apraxia of Speech Resource Guide " (2003). Dr. Velleman serves on the Professional Advisory Board of Apraxia-Kids' parent organization - the Childhood Apraxia of Speech Association. For more information Angie LaFrance angiebob@...
