Contingency contract for EMS ground and air (medical helicopter) support. For additional information please contact the Division of Contracts and Procurement Support. Deliverable 1: up to 75 surge ambulances (you do not have to supply all 75 ambulances - proposals for 5 unit strike teams and individual ambulances (less than 5 per bidder will be considered). Provide up to fifteen (15) sets of five (5) ALS ambulance strike teams as surge ambulances for pre-event, disaster event (outside of affected area) and post-event. Teams are to assist with evacuation, transportation/treatment and stabilization. ALS units and staff provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week up to 4 weeks. Each strike team is to provide one team leader per five units. Although it is preferred that ambulance strike teams be bid in sets of 5, bids will be considered for strike teams in amounts less than 5. If bidding a team less than five, provide an hourly rate per unit and indicate number of units available. These should be priced under deliverable 1A on the price sheet. Deliverable 3: up to 10 rotor wing ambulances for medical institution evacuation or other emergency preparedness efforts.
