Guest guest
Bonnie- Thanks for all the positive thoughts. Yes, I am challenged in many areas lately. But there are lots of good things to balance the challenges. And many blessings all around. I, too, am incredibly thankful for the social progress. Guest guest
Michele, so sorry to have concrned you about the BAHA and 's problems. I think we are the only ones who have experienced such problems. Also, they never even tried a softband w/erika. The infections i still donot have figured out. Funny though i just got a repsonse from a company in the UK that does titanium testing! They have told me it is very rare 5 %. I am sure you have disucussed your concerns withe Aubries doctor. Also, Eirka had hers done pretty much when they first strated. I think they have come a long way. I have not talked to anyone else that has had the problems we did. Also, sorry i just know picked up these emails. Cathie, 's mom Re: Aubrie's IEP and BAHA Michele, So Happy everything is moving in such a positive way for Aubrie. It must be a wonderful feeling to have Aubrie's team work together and really get it as to who Aubrie is and where she is headed. I can understand what that feeling is like now that is happy in a community setting. It's a universal dream of us mom's to see our kids leading happy well rounded lives. Your are Aubrie's greatest advocate and she is your shinning star that leads you. May your seas forever be calm. Love to you both. mom to ( 31) > > Hi, everyone. Guest guest
Cathie- Thanks for alleviating my concerns. I hadn't thought about it before, but Aubrie has large pieces of metal in her hips. Apparently, her body has handled that ok. I'm sure she'll be fine. Is 's healed now or are you still looking for a solution? Guest guest
Cathie- Glad to hear it's ok for now. Sounds like you're right to keep investigating so you'll be ready when and if there is another flare up. I will be praying for " not " . Guest guest
Pam- I think she's really coming along. She's not fluent by any means. But she's made great gains. When you consider that she doesn't " need " to sign to communicate, she's doing amazingly well. This is one reason we wanted to keep her at ISD -- to not lose all the signing progress we've made.
