The Minnesota DeafBlind Project would like to invite you to attend an Upper Midwest CHARGE Syndrome Conference. April 13-14, 2007 (Friday/Saturday) Grand Rios Water Park and Hotel Minneapolis, MN Presentations at the 2-day conference will include: * Introduction to CHARGE Syndrome, Dr. Davenport, co-author, CHARGE Syndrome, a Management Manual for Parents * CHARGE Phenotype and Educational Implications, Dr. Tim Hartshorne, Central Michigan University * Stress in Young Adults who have CHARGE Syndrome, Kasee Stratten, Central Michigan University * Coping with a Child who has CHARGE Syndrome, Dr. Tim Hartshorne, Central Michigan University * Nanny 911 or The Top Ten Strategies for Promoting Positive Behavior in Children with CHARGE Syndrome, Laurie Denno, Perkins School for the Blind * A Panel of Parents representing a variety of ages * A Panel of Educators representing a variety of education settings * Two consumers with CHARGE syndrome - teenage and young adult Unfortunately, we cannot offer childcare. A block of rooms will be held until March 30th with a room rate of $89.
