FW: Hotel Room Reservation Info For August 2007 GETAC Meetings

Just a quick reminder that GETAC will hold its August meetings at the

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport at the Hilton Austin Airport

Hotel (9515 New Airport Drive), and not at the DSHS main campus.

DSHS has been given a special $85 room rate at the Hilton for Monday,

August 20 through Thursday, August 23. The meetings take place August

22-24, with committees and task forces scheduled for August 22 and 23.

The GETAC meeting itself will be Friday, August 24. You can book a room

at the $85 rate by calling and asking for code rate GETAC2.

As usual, you will need to secure the reservation with a credit card.

There are a limited number of rooms available, and the cut-off for

reservations at the $85 rate is July 27.

Consider calling early; the hotels in Austin have been running high

occupancies lately and the Hilton has told us they will not release any

more rooms for our group at the $85 rate. We have reserved as many as

they will give us: Monday, 15; Tuesday, 65; Wednesday, 75; and Thursday,

65.
