Labcorp messes mine up too! First ime around they said it was fine. I drug myself into doctor's looking like death itself 1 month later and she gave me my synthroid, but a lower dose than what I have taken for 16 years! THEN my results came back today and again, it's fine! It's so fine the swelling is blocking my windpipe and it's hard to swollow!

I am one mad woman right now!!!!!!

That is the T3 free, but my thinking is with running all the indexes

etc at the same time that it is not a true free test..I could be

wrong..other things to look at is whether or not you took your Armour

before testing ( 1-3hrs)..if the result is true and not effected by

meds you may need to lower your Armour and add some T4 only

replacement to the mix.

I have heard that others had no problem

with labcorp. Maybe if your dtr has labcorp slips instead of quest. That could

make a difference. Because then the technician has to guess what labs you want

ran because they have to convert them. I can’t see why it’s so

hard to convert quest codes to labcorp, but I guess it is.

My thyroid tests are now LabCorp, through HealthCheckUSA.com. I just don't like the inconvenience of driving clear over a town away to get them now. Aaaaaaaaaaa!!! But I'm still only paying $124.50 for all those tests, including the full metabolic panel, Frees and TSH testing, cholesterols, liver and kidney functions, red and white blood counts with differentials, and much more. I will not say that they are or less accurate either.
