Guest guest
Hi , Here's Hope and a Hug from Minnesota. I just completed 8 months of treatment for Grade 3 (poorly differentiated ... IDC), Stage IIIa (based on size of tumor and lymph node involvement. It was a long 8 months, but I was blessed with relative few, and relatively mild side effects from surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. I just had my 1st 3-month medical oncology appointment Friday and so far NED (no evidence of disease). There continue to be a few little twists and turns in my journey, but in the main I am feeling GREAT. I get fatigued in the afternoon more than before, but hey, I will be 59 in April. I also am a little more creaky this winter than last, but that could be age and the fact that it wouldn't hurt me to lose many, many pounds. ... I'm not going to put in print how many. , I'm sending you a big {HUG} from Minnesota and a reminder to BREATHE. You WILL get through this; stay strong and remember that your bc sisters are here for you. SharonK in COLD Minnesota
