Guest guest
I too wish that I had taken a picture - just one - to remind myself of how far I've traveled this last year. I do have a picture taken with my 1/2 inch haircut after my 2nd chemo treatment and another picture taken in December by a local friend I met through the G. Komen site. When we met for lunch about 6 weeks after I finished 5 months of chemotherapy, she wanted to take my picture to send to another bc friend out in California. I hate to have my picture taken under any circumstance, but I just couldn't tell her " no " . So I mugged for the camera with a huge grin on my face and very definitely " SOME " hair on my head because it started growing about 1/2 way through my 12 weeks of Taxol. I'm very thankful to have at least those before and after (chemo) pictures. The big grin on my face in December tells the story: it's GREAT to be alive and to be a breast cancer survivor.
