Guest guest
Hi , >>>I'm trying to look at it as a huge pj party with my kids<<<< You've got it. lemons to lemonaide, as someone said a few days ago... Just think, guilt free days of playing with toys, leaving crumbs on the floor, charming little ones to go get bags of peas out of the freezer for your foot, or a glass of water. You may be very pleasantly surprised at how much they can do, and can't wait to do. Hubby having soup and pb & j for supper- and you're perfectly justified in just " shrugging " ... " Sorry dear... " " But while your in the kitchen, could you bring me....... " and " On your way home, the kids need..... " and " Wouldn't take-out be great tonight?? (after he's had it with the pb & j's.) ;-) You were doing too much running around anyway, I can tell. It's a tough way to get some time off-but it is what it is- might as well make the very best of it. If you take full advantage of it, it can be a really cool time. (hope it doesn't hurt too much) ;-) in Ma. (, 21 yrs old) ************************************** AOL now offers free email to everyone. Find out more about what's free from AOL at http://www.aol.com. Guest guest
Hi everyone, im sitting on my couch with a broken foot!!! I tripped over something as I was going up a set of stairs and bam!! I fractured my foot. I think these are the hardest times as a mom... I have a 5 and a half year old, a three year old, and of course Alissa. Your never aloud to get sick or hurt and here I am. I'm trying not to panic and just doing what I can but this really sucks! Its amazing how there's no help out there from the community when things like this happens. It'll take me a few days if anything to get some help but in the mean time it's gonnna get a little hairy around here. I know it. Oh well, I trying to look at it as a huge pj party with my kids. I know one day I'll look back and find some humor in this and wish to some degree to be back on the couch snuggling with all three of them. Anyone some words of wisdom and positive thoughts from my charge family will help me through. Take care

Guest guest
- Argh! I like the idea of the pj party. I always enjoyed snow days and sick days with my kids. It was an unexpected opportunity to sit down, relax, and enjoy them. So you get an unexpected break from the fast lane. Might as well make the best of it, eh? I hope that foot heals quickly for you!
