All this together cost the grand sum of $49.95 to put together. We did that in between walking 5 miles each way uphill in the snow barefoot to attend classes. And if you had a fancy rig, you had both 4 and 10 ton PortaPowers to pop doors with and a K-Bar-T 'giant can opener' to flap the roof down... ck S. Guest guest
What prehospital pelvic splints are out there? I've looked at T-POD, Pelvic Binder, and the SAM Sling. Are there any others? ReD

Guest guest
An inverted Ked seems to work really good. But Gene’s wrap ‘em and strap ‘em idea is a lot more fun especially with the taters in his shoes and everything. Deason .. Guest guest
You’re old, do you remember using the old ratcheting jacks from the older model cars as part of the extrication kit? Pulling cars up the side of the hill with the patient and a rescuer in it so everyone else could get to them easier? Same time frame as ‘if you weren’t bloody, you must not have been working’……:-) Re: Pelvic splints I can't help it if I remember when there were no Jaws and we took off doors and roofs with air chisels or a leaf spring sharpened on a grinder, propelled by a small sledge hammer.
