Guest guest
, I am sorry to hear your news. Hearing the Cancer word for the first time is definitely scary, no doubt... I think it is something everyone fears.. those who have it and then those who are afraid of getting it. Everything is a blur as you said and hopefully once Monday comes, things will start to piece together. Jot down questions and if possible, take someone with you to your appts. Usually because we as the patients are so overwhelmed we tend not to retain what the drs. say to us at the appts. so it helps if you either can take notes or have someone there with you for that. Monday must seem like an eternity away.. I know.. the thoughts going through your head can't be helping either, but if anything try to rest when you can until you know for sure what the plan of action will be. Try not to read too many things that will overwhelm you at first. Keep talking to everyone here, they all are wonderful women. I just joined a few weeks ago myself and I am addicted to the support! You will always have someone to vent, cry or talk to in this group, you will never be alone. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers and please keep us posted.
