Akin Ambulance is a growing, busy, ambulance service based in Seguin,

Texas. We provide emergency responses and non-emergency responses to

several hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and private residences.

We provide 911 back-up for the City of Seguin when their trucks are

busy. We are constantly updating our equipment and protocols. Our most

recent upgrades include the Stryker powered cots and Lifepak 12's with

12 lead capability on all ambulances. We are equipped with ventilators

on each truck, and are looking into cpap/bi-pap. Our protocols allow

for agressive pre-hospital cardiac and pain management. We perform

MEDCOM transports into San from rural hospitals. We have a

mixture of medical and traumatic based calls, with an emphasis on

cardiac care from the rural to urban area. Transports can range from 1

block to 50+ miles. We currently have both 24 hour and 10 hour day

trucks to provide service during high demand times. The increase that

we have seen in calls for service may require more additional staffing

at the EMT and EMT-P level in the near future. I am searching for at

least one motivated paramedic to work shift work. I am especially

interested in the possibility of a night-time medic. We stay busy.

Anyone wishing further information may e-mail me at akinambulance@the-

cia.net or contact me at .

Thank you,

Akin
