Guest guest
Dear L, ) You are so right. Funny I learned to trust that " little terrier " () when I didn't trust people. I can talk about my past now with the understanding and compassion of an adult. Took 3 years of therapy to help me grow up emotionally. I look back now and know that God was there and looking out for me through his gift of . The past was what it was and can not be changed but I have control over how I use the experience of my childhood. I had the power to free that little girl and allow her to grow into a loving compassionate woman. I will always love my animals and have them around me. They have taught me how to be a better person thus a better parent and partner to my husband. By the way I presently have 3 cats and 3 dogs. All three of the dogs are females so it takes some finesse in maintaining them all getting along. They are all basiclly rescues in one way or another. I have the most wonderful husband in the world. He has never said no to me even when it pushes on the budget. He loves them " almost " <grin> as I do. When we started 's house that was something I stressed on. There would be animals in his house if they wanted them. So many life lessons can be learned in the careing for animals. and Debra each have a cat. likes going to the agility competitions with me when they are close by. Daughter Dawn is crazy into the horses and has 3 cats so it's a family trait for us. Dawn also owns one horse and is part owner in 3 ponies. Now her father thinks all horse people are really crazy including his daughter. hehehe. mom to (31) > > Dear , > > " That little terrier dog showed me what unconditional love was. Guest guest
, I'm right there with you on the love for animals. We only have two dogs. One is ours and one was supposed to be a working dog for Patty. It is a long story but the lab puppy Patty got was incredibly ill. Patty saved her, cared for her and got her healthy. Patty and Brady have a unique connection. Brady will sit by the door and cry. Brady's hips are such that she can't be a work dog. That doesn't matter though. She is her companion. They love each other so. There is nothing like a pet. Nothing. Bonnie, Mom to Kris 24, Patty CHARGE 22, and wife to CHARGE: Re: Off Topic but just wanted to share... Dear L, ) You are so right.
