Yeasterday was my first chemo and it was so scary at first as I was an anxiety

shaking nut

case. However, the nurses were awesome, kind and just plain caring and THAT made

all

the difference in the world. I was able to cry a little (something I haven't

beenable to do

much of) and I was validated even more some by the nurses of how difficult my

trip has

been. So, needless to say, I am home with a rough niight of sleep. I am shaky,

had the

night sweats and chills, but worst of all is this horrible headache! Hopefully

this is the

worst, however I won't hold my breath just yet. Thank you all for your insiping

words of

wisdom, love and support.

Carol,

Congratulations, you've just jumped your first hurdle of chemo!! YOU DID IT!!

A lot of what we feel and how we feel is the anxiety of it all and not wanting

to accept that it is truly happening to us.. Get your rest, drink plenty of

water.. and just try to relax and think of a happy place as the next few days

work to your advantage inside your body!!

I'll be thinking of you...

Your friend with peace and prayers sent your way,

Michele

Carol,

A caring medical team makes a BIG difference. When I was getting my last

treatment for some reason I had a little nausea. The onc came in to see how I

was doing and started rubbing my back and neck. He even gave us his home phone

number and told us to stop by sometime to meet the family! I would never intrude

like that but it was a nice thing to do. Prayers that you feel better soon.

Hugs
