Hi I'm . I am having many symptoms of hypothyroid but so far, I

have not found a doctor to help. Does anyone have any doctors in the

area they might recommend. I don't have anymore test results because

I have not seen a doctor who thinks I need to have anymore tests. THe

test range was .7 to 5.5 and since 5.3 is in range, I was considered

normal.

Thanks for reading!

just a comment on your situation, i thought that the TSH levels range

had been revised to 0.3 - 3.0 some time back?, although i do know that

labs in different areas use different criteria

have a look on Endocrine web pages on line to learn more

Hi there,

Please allow me to introduce myself I'm a woman of no

wealth and pain.

Please stay away from a major hospital especially Beth

Israel where I had my TT and the worst experience of

my life.

Any doctor associated with a major hospital is going

to think like a number cruncher-not a doctor.

I found a doc that has his own practice and doesn't

take marching orders from bean counters!

Of course-some docs all seem okay at the

beginning-then they start to pull the strings.

Dr. Ken Blanchard sometimes takes new patients but he

only uses compounded meds and my insurance won't pay

for them so I'd be out about $100 a month. He is very

good.Give his office a call.He is in Newton. He is also

about 90 mins. from me.Good man though! Talked with

him on the phone-he likes to pre-screen his future

patients and we talked about an hour-he seemed lonely

but very sweet-I bought his book-a must for the

thyroid challenged!

I'm my own girl.Nobody tell sme what to do-not even

me!

Hiya back!!!!

YES...I too spoke with Blanchard on the phone for an

hour. REALLY...sweet smart guy. I wish I had pushed

to go to him at the time, but I was still messing with

local docs and that sent me assunder.

After all this time...I'm convinced more than ever

that his protocol is really worth considering.

I do hope you are feeling good!

Day after day, day after day,

We stuck, nor breath nor motion;

As idle as a painted ship

Upon a painted ocean.

Water, water, everywhere,

And all the boards did shrink;

Water, water, everywhere,

Nor any drop to drink.

What is Dr. Blanchard's protocol? Does any of it have to do with taking a

lot of iodine or not, can't remember?

:

HE has a book that tells one thier best bet to

excellent thyroid replacement includes a 2 percent t3

and 98 percent T4 solution.

Naturally, he is willing to tweak from there, but this

is his main operating thesis at the moment.

He does not tout iodine as part of his protocol.
