Guest guest
Internet is great, I found a childhood friend of mine and in doing so I found out she has a goiter (she’s from OH). She is not on thyroid meds. Should she be, I don’t know what her thyroid levels are. I’m sure she needs to be tested for hashimotos. But having a goiter should she be on thyroid? What other tests should she get. Right now she doesn’t have insurance, but she should soon. Thanks for any advice Micki Health Eating and Living Together http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/he2gether_/ http://mouster71.blogspot.com/ www.stopthethyroidmadness.com
Guest guest
Having goiter only means she needs to have her thyroid regularly monitored.. Grave's , hashimoto's, thyroiditis, nodules, too much iodine , too littel iodine, viruses etc..can all cause a goiter which is just a fancy word for inflammation of the thyroid. It is not a diagnosis of anything but rather a symptom of a few things. Kats3boys
