Oooh Michele,

Memorable for sure! I can feel Aubrie's joy through her smile. You all are

such a handsome family. Your son's gotten tall, hasn't he! Be sure to send

Wolfgang a picture of him with Aubrie. Our children are amazing. They bring

out the best in other's hearts.

Thank goodness for digital and internet, so we can all share in.

Who knew just a regular Tuesday in October could be such a special night.

;-)

I hope the link above works to get you guys to the photo album of our visit

last night with Puck. Wow! Aubrie had a ball! The event was awesome -

delicious appetizers brought around on trays, free beverages, beautiful art.

and his friend were really impressed - as were we all. The first

photo is the head chefwho invited us, Cary, with Puck as he signs Aubrie's

cookbook. The rest are self-explanatory.

ISD sent home an ASL " I love you " bear and an ISD bracelet so Aubrie had

gifts to give to Puck. That was awesome. One of her catch phrases is, " You

know what the cool thing is?? " The cool thing was that she gave him 2

gifts and he gave her 3. He put the bracelet on right away and plans to

share the bear with his young son, Oliver.

Chef Puck spent at least 15 minutes talking with us, taking pictures, etc.

He was a lovely, gracious man. I mentioned that I'd seen his foundation on

the web and asked if I could email him some info. So I'll be in contact

with his " person " . Perhaps it will lead no where; perhaps it'll lead to

some support for the CHARGE Foundation. Keep your fingers crossed. In any

case, it was a memorable night for Miss Aubrie and her family!

Sounds like a marvellous time! Kudos on getting the info about talking to

his " person " . Unfortunately, I couldn't get the link to work :( send it to

me privately at kawfolks@... and I'll see what I can do.

Les-

He's one of the most famous chef's in the US. Aubrie watches Food Network

all the time. Do you have that there? She loves all the chefs, has several

cookbooks, and actually reads them! Puck was on Food Network years ago but

now is on Home Shopping Network selling his products - of which I bought

several when we were watching this weekend! He also said he's working on a

kids' cooking show for network TV which will be out in a year or so. Cool!
