hi everybody

im so excited nathan made a complete turn around they got his

breathing under control he has to take steroids to keep his airway

open they still dont know how or what happened hes happy to be home

the first thing he did was went to his walker and started signing

more the doctors and nurses were amazed by the signing he was doing

he is eating and drinking wich is good but he is getting tired easy

which i can deal with. i wanted to share this with everybody a mom

posted it on myspace and it has helped me get through the last couple

day i hope you like it

Don't Quit

When things go wrong as they sometimes will.

When the road you're trudging seems all up hill.

When funds are low and the debts are high.

And you want to smile, but you have to sigh.

When care is pressing you down a bit.

Rest, if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns.

As everyone of us sometimes learns.

And many a failure turns about.

When he might have won had he stuck it out:

Don't give up though the pace seems slow –

You may succeed with another blow.

Success is failure turned inside out –

The silver tint of the clouds of doubt

And you never can tell how close you are.

It may be near when it seems so far:

So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit –

It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.

thanks for all the support

CONGRATS !!! Glad things worked out.. used to do the same thing.. one

minute fine, the next in the ER barely breathing. Then he would do this major

turnaround, kinda like flipping a switch, and be on his way home. One night a

resident actually came in, thinking I couldn't hear him, told the nurse

would prbably be dead by morning... I jumped up and physically threw him out of

's room... the next day at noon he was released to go home, doing fine.

He too would end up one steroids, matter of fact when they finally figured it

out he was on steriods for a bit over two years.. What they found out with

was that he had bronchial stenosis.. left main bronch was at 40% of normal

and right main was at 15%. So every little thing would set off his breathing

problems.

Hope things stay mellow..

Casey

Don't Quit

When things go wrong as they sometimes will.
