I was wondering if anyone else here has started a breast cancer

scrapbook? I am starting one of my own to also do some journaling in,

add pictures of my hairless beauty :-), my hats I have been making, and

well wishing cards from people. I had a friend from Church who had

Hodgkins 12 years ago and she said she only had one pic of her bald

head and wished she had had the foresight to take more so she could

look back now and say " Look how far I've come! " It has been thereputic

for me so far.

Love and prayers,

Val

Yes indeed! One of the very first things that my partner started was what we

call 'cancer

days in bed' pictures. She would lie in bed with me watching t.v. or reading and

then just

snap away. We have some of the most outrageous pics that are priceless,

including my cat

who likes to attack my covers everytime I move. ha ha

She also created a sign in picture paper out of butcher paper and two buckets of

markers.

That way visitors, anyone, including her, can sign or draw whatever their

imaginations can

come up with. It's quite hilarious to see some of the things that are up there

hanging on

our bedroom wall. We're actually ready to turn the page as the first one, which

is 4' by 3',

is full! Since we have no car and take the bus everywhere(dread dread) we even

take pics

of things we do in public. It is great fun and helps keep my spirits up,

especially when I am

lying in my bed and get to see my 'picture paper' smiling down at me. I also do

some

journaling as well throughout this journey. I will have all of these things to

remember as

well as to remind me that I have the strength to make it thru!

I hope you enjoy yours as much as I am enjoying mine.

have to start thinking more PHOTO's as i move ahead, I am a scrapper anyways,
