Guest guest
Dear Yuka, Thank you. I was a child raised by a dog....I was the last of five children. My parents got this medium size terrier when I was a baby. She became my protecter. My dad carried the emotional scars of being raised by an unloving step mother and horrors of serving in World War ll. He like so many others after the war turned to drink. By the time I was born it seemed all my parents love and caring was burned up or just lost. I grew up never hearing either of them saying " I love you " That little terrier dog showed me what unconditional love was. Because of her I didn't lose my ability to love. mom to (31) > > Agility training is inspiring. The intense dedicated focused connection and awareness between trainer and animal is transcendent and amazing. For it to work, there can only be clarity, presence and acceptance. It looks so much like love and joy. ) > > Congratulations and well done! > > Yuka > > >
Guest guest
....sometimes angels not only don't have wings, they come in furry little four legged bodies. Bless the dog, and bless you for receiving that love - for in the end it is who we become in the process and what we learn that matters. You have received the love from your dog and returned it many times over - you still are - thank you ) yuka CHARGE: Re: Off Topic but just wanted to share... Dear Yuka, Thank you. Guest guest
Dear , " That little terrier dog showed me what unconditional love was. " That reaffirms my feeling that dogs are heaven sent. 's dog (my dog) came to us in a moment of a fully open heart for me. She and hard heartedness cannot exist in the same place together. Chocolate too, I think, is a little heavenly trinket for us, angel dust as it were. But it's not good for dogs-they are angelically full already. --- And, watching Ceasar Milan-what a perfect way to raise teenagers. Be a " Calm assertive " pack leader, head up-looking toward where you're walking, purposeful gait, firm but gentle Immediate correction when they begin to entertain wrong thoughts-before it escalates to action. Reward " calm-submissive " states-lol. lots of daily exercise and pack socialization, and eat with the pack daily. Provide proper food, love, praise, appropriate toys, exercise, training, and immediate correction. Direct by staying in your positive energy, not your emotions. Simple. lol. ;-) L. ************************************** AOL now offers free email to everyone. Find out more about what's free from AOL at http://www.aol.com.
