Austin County Emergency Medical Services is the sole 911 EMS provider for

657 square miles of Austin County, which includes the incorporated cities of

Bellville, Sealy, Wallis, Industry, San Felipe, Brazos Country, and the

communities of Cat Springs, Bleiblerville, and New Ulm. Austin County is

bordered

by Washington County to the North, Waller County to the east, Colorado County

to the West, Fayette County to the Northwest, and Ft. Bend County to the

South. Located only 20 minutes from the Katy area, Austin County is easily

accessible by I-10 west.

Austin County Emergency Medical Services is a division of county government

of Austin County, Texas.

Staffing Levels: 5 frontline BLS-MICU units - (Frazer fleet), 2 of which

are 24 hour trucks, and 2 - 10 hr Peak Trucks plus 1 Paramedic Supervisor.

Progressive off-line Patient Care Guidelines which include: RSI, CPAP, Pain

Management.

Accepting applications for the following;

ACEMS will be interviewing Paramedics for full and part-time positions.

Also EMT-I's and EMT's will be interviewed for part time positions only.

Requirements:

Clean Driving record, Certification & /or Licensure in good standing with DSHS.

Paramedics: Current ACLS, PALS, BTLS, CPR certifications are preferred

EMT-B or EMT-I: Current BTLS, CPR certifications are preferred

Hiring Process:

Written and Practical exam, Panel Interview, Background investigation, Drug

screen
