Guest guest
Hi again, Yes, I'm a bit behind on my digests. I've been diabetic for 36 years and am 22 years a cancer survivor. First mast 22 years ago and second 19 years ago. I've stuck both hands since the second mast. I always give the phlebotomists a choice of either arm for my bloodwork (every 2 months sometimes due to other problems). I've never had any problem with edema at all. I wonder if it's something your body will have problems with or not have problems with no matter what you do????? Does anyone have any ideas?? The docs never told me (back then) to not use the first arm for blood or finger sticks or iv's. Maybe I've been doing it wrong for 22 years *smile*. But then again, at least for me, if it ain't broke, don't fix it! -- Angel (A.K.A. Mari) mfgershman@...
