Guest guest
I just opened a wal mart flier and to my uter disgust, they were selling a stinger p32 soft air pistole for sale It looks like a real gun, Im sorry but why does anyone need a toy bb gun? Also it cant be sold to anyone under 18. Ok, sure lets encourage people to get use to using guns. With rising gun crime i cant belive this is being alowed! Im quite angry and I belive as canadian citizens we need to to put an end to toy replica guns!. I was under the impression that selling this was illigal in canada. Would anyone please enlighten me on the current legislation. Chantelle McLaren -- http://spacecatsgarden.blogspot.com/ => My blog space " I let my mind out to wander, and it never came back! Guest guest
My son's senior class trip was to Montreal. I got wind that some of the boys came back with hunting quality sling shots. And of course, it was just the group that you would not want to have them. They're illegal here. So, we got them gathered up and disposed of. It could be that the BB guns require some type of license. You could call the business office of the police department to find out if they're legal. Based on the slingshot episode, I'm betting they are, but that doesn't mean they can use them in populated areas. in Ma. ************************************** AOL now offers free email to everyone. Guest guest
Sorry Chantelle, I don't know about those type of laws, but it certainly puts kids at risk if they go around with those type of toy guns. The police don't take seeing a 'gun' - play or not - lightly.
