Guest guest
I came across these thoughts today, and I feel they reflect an aspect of the strength I find in our list community. " A community is therefore a healing community, not because wounds are cured and pains are alleviated, but because wounds and pains become openings or occasions for a new vision. Mutual confession then becomes a mutual deepening of hope, and sharing weaknesses becomes a reminder to one and all of the coming strength. " Henri Nouwen from " The Wounded Healer " " ...there might be a difference between being cured and being healed....(and) that each moment, within grace, opens endless creative possibilities. Guest guest
Yuka, I can't wait to meet you. I believe you are one of those people who radiate peace and serenity from your inner self. That people are calmed just being near you. There are to few people like you in this world. I wondered lost until I found myself one day and learned to love. mom to (31) ) mom to (31) CHARGE , " Yuka Persico " wrote: > > I came across these thoughts today, and I feel they reflect an aspect of the strength I find in our list community. > > " A community is therefore a healing community, not because wounds are cured and pains are alleviated, but because wounds and pains become openings or occasions for a new vision. Guest guest
- You bless me deeply by affirming in me that which I see in you abundantly. Peace and serenity conjure up a sort of quietness - and my outward nature is rather verbal and jocular. I am becoming aware that one of my elemental gifts/blessings is my earnestness and willingness. When I am inspired and when I am working from my gifts and have endless renewing energy (rather than working solely from my proficiencies) I recognize that what my heart brings is its earnest willingness to accept what is and to uncover good in it. This does infact bring me great peace and serenity, and I am doubly blessed when it also brings wholeness and mercy to others in their challenging circumstance. However, I have found that sometimes my willingness and earnestness reflects back to people things they are not ready to see, and I am not skilled at concealing my reflection, or even knowing when I should. Sometimes my presence brings great upheaval - perhaps for the ultimate good, but definitely for the immediate discord. I have learned the peace of affirming others as I affirm myself, and I am discovering presence in the places where I yet feel unmet and unseen. We are so held in light- Yuka Re: Sharing Yuka, I can't wait to meet you. I believe you are one of those people who radiate peace and serenity from your inner self. Guest guest
Vegimite is not banned in the states. I think your cosin was teasing you. Marmite on the other hand might have some restrictions due to beef by product. However, the yummyness that is vegimite... can probably be purchased at the health food section of a grocery store. Ellen, I am on a few food yahoo groups so I will ask and see where its available Chantelle > yuka you know i love you and want to meet you but i cant come coz my cousins > wife who is american says vegimite my only food is banned over there so ull > all have to smuggle some befor i can come LOL > > > > > > - > > > > You bless me deeply by affirming in me that which I see in you abundantly. > > Peace and serenity conjure up a sort of quietness - and my outward nature is > > rather verbal and jocular.
