positive with all this negative-Tammy

Hi Tammy,

I'm one of the group that had anything that could go wrong, go wrong. I was

very healthy when I started so it surprised me that I would have these things

go wrong.

My Onc said she had seen all the side effects (actually, more like the

" risks " ) but she had never seen them ALL in one patient.

I spent almost 40 days in the hospital throughout my dose-dense chemo (A/C,

then taxol)

I had low counts, allergic reaction, and a couple of infections, one of

which tried to kill me, seriously.

My Onc and a partner that saw me in the hospital told me in no uncertain

terms that I should have the talk with my kids. It was purely ugly.

My positive with the negative? I whooped its ass! I didn't leave.

I won!

So, as bad as you may feel it is. (if it gets to that point, it may not)

But, if you have a bad time here & there just know you can beat it. Keep

positive and fight like hell. :-)
