Hi ,

I forgot what date we start counting our time as a survivor. Mastectomy? The

day you finish chemo? What date are we supposed to use?

hugs,

Dari

Congrats!!!!!

Someone once said to me that we begin to consider ourselves survivors

on the day of diagnosis.. stay healthy, and always pro-active..

I used the day of the breast surgery.

It looks like soon I will have to go back for an incision though. Not

recurrence, but vanity. I want what the plastic surgeon promised, so since I

have an area of fibrosis distorting my breast, I want him to fix it. He doesn't

know that yet, but I think he guesses...LOL

I consider myself an 8 to 10 year survivor as considering the size of

the mass it had been growing that long and I am still HERE! Had the

biopsy a year ago Jan. 30 06.
