hi again sorry i haven't posted lately been quite busy i haven't had

time to be in the group last friday i saw my endo with he told me

that he was going to change my synthroid from 75 mg to 125 mg in my

blood work my t3 and t4 was very low and i have low vitamin d

deficient (hope i spelled that correctly) he said it was dangerously

low witch i asked him how low he was going to give me the copy and i

forgot to asked. so i am kind of worry i been feeling tired lately i

have been sleeping about 12 hours a day. whene i am very tired i

can't talk i just want to go to bed.

so now i am taking synthroid 4 days now and i am feeling pain in my

head yesterday i felt like my insides of the head just torn open and

pain before i saw the doctor my eyeballs were in pain.

has anyone felt this way before? also with the 125 mg of synthroid

has anyone gained weight? because i have lost 27 pouns since the

pituitary tumor operation and i don't want to gain it back. also

since my pituitary tumor operation my body has change in different

ways i don't eat some stuff as i use too wish is good because i eat

kind of healthy now but i still have nausea when i see or smell

different kinds of food that i use to eat.

is it because my pituitary not working at all or is it because of the

thyroid? well please if someone knows let me know.

thanks leslie.

Could you tell us some of the foods that you used to eat that now make

you feel yucky? I had cravings for foods when I was hyper that turned

out to be goitrogens, I just didn't know that at the time.. One of the

foods that I ate a LOT of was roasted soy nuts, strong antithyroid

reactions involved with those, when I had some after my RAI I actually

spit them up, they tasted NASTY... I think our bodies can crave things

that they need to be healthier and then reject those same foods later

when the body's dynamics change.

As for the new dose causing you pain... for some folks a 50 mcg jump is

too much at one time... it might be you'd do better with 25 mcg for a few

weeks and then add the second 25 mcg... when are your next labs due??
