Guest guest Posted March 16, 2007 Report Share Posted March 16, 2007 Yes, probably.. with Hashi's or thyroid cancer it needs to be low... but you also need to know what your thyroid hormone levels are to be sure that you are not becoming hyper, with excess thyroid hormone. You want to hit that magical 'sweet spot' where the TSH is suppressed, the thyroid hormones (Free T4 and Free T3) are high enough for your body to be able to function in a healthy manner AND your symptoms are gone, or nearly gone.
