It is with a heavy heart that I post the death of

Olsen. worked in EMS in the

Dallas/Ft. Worth area for over 10 years.

worked as a Paramedic for Central/American

Medical Response in Dallas, MedStar in Ft. Worth and

Careflite- County until last year when he took

a job with a contractor in Iraq providing security and

paramedic services.

It is my understanding that he came home from Iraq

this week to deal with personal issues and took his

own life.

Funeral arrangements are pending at this time.

Steve, I believe he was there from around 95-98 (maybe longer). My dates

are not exact, but he was there when I was. As Will points out,

appeared in a number of EMS equipment ads that began around '96 and are still

used

today.

Very sadly to hear of what happen to him. I have worked with

only twice at AMR when he filled in my partner's place and

he was a nice guy. It was in 2000 but I'm not sure how long he

stayed or when he started. My condolences goes to him and his

family...
