DALLAS - Following up on this mornings story:

Since the report of the menacing bee - dubbed the Park Killer

Bee - phone calls have flooded area phone lines. Telephone service

was interrupted throughout the morning. Public calls to newspapers,

police and city officials have reported similar attacks over the past

six months.

" I thought this was just an isolated case " stated Parks and

Recreation Director Forrest Greene, " but obviously this bee is a

terroristic threat, and must be dealt with " .

Senator Case, D-TX has introduced a bill before the US

Congress to build a fence around the Park complex to keep the

menacing bees from entering the park. " We must protect our citizens,

secure our park borders, maintain our constitutional right to freedom

and stem the flow of these menacing anthophila " the Senator stated

while addressing the empty Senate. However, liberal Senators have

retorted that " if they have been here this long, we should grant them

legal status and establish programs to assist them " .

Due to the terroristic nature of the attacks, the Department of

Homeland Secrity (DHS) has sent investigators to the scene. DHS

field agent Al K. Seltzer stated that " it is possible this bee may be

a new front for Al Queda threats on American soil " .

Animal rights protestors have gathered at the park to show their

support for the bees. Local chapter President, Iona Bump, of the

Bee Rights Activists Bettering Our Own Bee Sense (BRABOOBS) stated

that " we will protect the rights of these bees, so they can take

their place on the endangered and protected species list " .

Several bees were witnessed to be flying in formation to support

their brother bee and yelling " we wave our pollinators in your

general direction " . In a show of rebellion, several bees also

exhibited their extended proboscis.

We will update you as more information is gathered.
