Telephone service was interrupted throughout the morning. Public calls to newspapers, police and city officials have reported similar attacks over the past six months. " I thought this was just an isolated case " stated Parks and Recreation Director Forrest Greene, " but obviously this bee is a terroristic threat, and must be dealt with " . Senator Case, D-TX has introduced a bill before the US Congress to build a fence around the Park complex to keep the menacing bees from entering the park. " We must protect our citizens, secure our park borders, maintain our constitutional right to freedom and stem the flow of these menacing anthophila " the Senator stated while addressing the empty Senate. However, liberal Senators have retorted that " if they have been here this long, we should grant them legal status and establish programs to assist them " . Due to the terroristic nature of the attacks, the Department of Homeland Secrity (DHS) has sent investigators to the scene. DHS field agent Al K. Seltzer stated that " it is possible this bee may be a new front for Al Queda threats on American soil " . Animal rights protestors have gathered at the park to show their support for the bees. Local chapter President, Iona Bump, of the Bee Rights Activists Bettering Our Own Bee Sense (BRABOOBS) stated that " we will protect the rights of these bees, so they can take their place on the endangered and protected species list " . Several bees were witnessed to be flying in formation to support their brother bee and yelling " we wave our pollinators in your general direction " .
