Guest guest
Thanks for the suggestion, . Have you ever picked raspberries? They are not amendable to picking with gloves. Tight fitting exam gloves might work, but the thorns would go right through them. I pick over a 100 quarts a year. Over the last 30 yers have gotten so I can get in and out with very few scratches, but you can't avoid them all together! Ruth PS These are home grown as are most of my fruits and veggies. Gardening one of my greatest pleasures! You can't get any closer to the earth that nourishes us all, for good or ill. > > Ruth, I would just wear gloves when your picking raspberries. > > > >
Guest guest
Ruth, I would just enjoy your rasberry picking and all your other gardening, thats what you enjoy, then do it, life is too short not to enjoy the things that make us happy.. Use caution when necessary, but obviously keep picking!! Thats my opinion to you! Michele ruthiema36 ruthiema36@...> wrote: Thanks for the suggestion, . Have you ever picked raspberries? Guest guest
Ahhh, Michele, my favorite sister's name by the way, we are on the same page! I did the cautious left handed picking, initially, last summer, did the " Bah Humbug " thing and used my right hand. Took too long using the left. I did, however, take the precaution of wearing long sleves as long as it wasn't too warm. I, also, washed up well, and used purell on any scratches.
