Don't carry suitcases or a briefcase with that arm.

Do not wear tight fitting or elasticized cuffs, tight sleeves, or tight jewelry,

such as rings, wristwatches, or bracelets on that side.

Avoid injections, vaccinations and drawing of blood from the affected arm.

Wear loose rubber gloves when washing dishes. Do not expose the hand or arm to

excessive temperature.

Keep the affected side covered when you are out in the sun. Use sun screen and

avoid sunburn.

Avoid insect bites and stings by using insect repellent.

Pamper your arm by carrying your purse or packages on the other side. Don't push

heavy furniture with the arm.

Wash cuts promptly, treat them with an antibacterial medication and cover them

with sterile dressing. Change the dressing and check cuts often for redness,,

soreness or other signs of infection.

Avoid burns while cooking or smoking.

Wear gloves or mitts when gardening and working with sharp object or hot objects

Use an electric razor to avoid cutting this area. Underarm shaving may be a

problem for awhile because of lack of mobility or numbness.

Never pick or cut cuticles or hangnails. Use cream cuticle remover for nail

care. Apply lanolin hand cream to hand and arm several times a day.

Maybe someone else will have more tips.
