Competitive RFP For EMS Local Projects Grant FY 2008

Class 948 Item 48

The Department of State Health Services (DSHS) Office of Emergency

Medical Services Trauma System Coordination (OEMS/TS) announces the

expected availability of fiscal year (FY) 2008 Permanent Emergency

Medical Service (EMS) and Trauma Care Tobacco Endowment funds to

provide Local Project Grants (LPGs). Funds shall be used to support

and improve the development of the Texas Emergency Health Care

System and increase the availability and quality of emergency pre-

hospital health care. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is not limited

to this source of funding if other sources become available for this

project.
