-What a wonderful idea, Topper! I love to read and

read anything I can get my hands on and try to read

books that other people really like. Right now I'm

reading " The Madhatter's Guide to Chocolate " by Rhett

DeVane. It is a fiction story set in Chattahoochee,

FL. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll cheer on the

characters--she has since written a second book that

follows these main characters.

My favorite book which I really enjoyed was " The Time

Traveler's Wife " and I can't remember who wrote it.

Very good story.

I used to read only biographies and true crime, so

switching to fiction was a thrill for me. I love

letting my imagination run with the authors'. I look

forward to hearing from everyone else about their

books.

Now that sounds interesting too...

I LOVE reading.. it's a way to enter new worlds and meet new people.. for

me, the bigger the book the better... Most important is how well the

characters are developed.. I love 'getting to know' them..

Never even thought of this when the suggestion came in for theme day....

For those that love reading the classics and don't get to the library

much or have money to spend on books... I download Ebooks and read them

on the computer... I also do audio books and listen to those... I have

to find the links for the free ebooks.. the free audio books I know by

hear... www.audiobooksforfree.com You can pay more for better quality

sound recordings.. but the free ones are okay.. not WOW but okay. There

are hundreds and hundreds of them... But.. it's all the old classics that

are out of copyright, that's the only type the can do for free..

copyrighted stuff still has royalties due the author...

They have the entires series that the Wizard of Oz comes from.. it's like

15 or 20 books... following Dorothy and the crew through all kinds of

adventures...

Dracula

The entire Sherlock Holmes collection...

Romances, horrors, suspense, detective... I've had a field day

downloading them...

I really like listening to audio books while working...
