Guest guest
Johanna.. please go take another look... Thyroid Manager is a very comprehensive book, available online, as a reference for thyroid diagnosis and care. It uses a lot of medical terminology and can be a bit hard to understand, but is well worth the effort in muddling through... Ask here for clarification on terms that you don't understand... it might be a bit harder for you with English being a second language for you... The link got goofed up.. it's www.thyroidmanager.org Robin referenced Chapter 9.. I don't have it in front of me... but I'll bet it's the right one.... We're also so used to typing .com and often type it when it should be something else, in this case .org Topper ()www.thyrophoenix.com/donations.htm On Wed, 28 Feb 2007 22:40:09 -1000 =?iso-8859-1?Q?J=F3hanna_H=E1konard=F3ttir?= writes: Robin. I couln't see any chapters. It looked a lot more like an adverticement for some drugs or something. Best Jóhanna

Guest guest
Thanks . ..org certainly did the trick. I'll have a look and see if my symptoms are mentioned there. I am on T4 medication by the way. Have been for 4 years I have been allergic to cats for the last two years and there are some other items that give syptoms also, probably dust for instance. I see some of you have experienced allergies also. My mother's sister and her daughter are also hypo (lazy thyroid????) so it probably runs in the family. I am 56 years old and menopauce started at 50. Hairloss is also a syptom of menopause is it not? Off to read the book. Best and thanks guys.
