Guest guest
Fellow EMS Team Members, I feel it is appropriate for me to recognize the value of all EMS personnel, providers and other members of the EMS team across our great state. This week is proclaimed as EMS week across the country and I wanted to personally recognize the members of Texas Emergency Medical Service organizations whether career or volunteer. You are always ready to provide lifesaving care to the citizens and visitors of this state 24 hours a day 7 days a week. EMS is a vital public service and your efforts dramatically improve the survival and recovery rate of those who experience illness or injury. Regardless of your role in EMS you should be proud of your contributions and accomplishments as a professional in the healthcare community. I realize you participate in hours of specialized training and continuing education to enhance your lifesaving skills to better serve the citizens of Texas. Let's keep working to improve Texas EMS, it going to take all of us working together to continue providing quality emergency care. Thanks for all that you do, Maxie Bishop, LP, State EMS Director Division for Regulatory Services Texas Department of State Health Services Phone: 512/834-6737 Fax: 512/834-6736 e-mail: maxie.bishop@...
