I took a couple of days off for some ME time... I wasn't very fun to be around either! hehehehe

I'm calmed down now and ready to get back to work....

As far as the financing stuff.....

The yahoo groups are still free, yahoo tried making them a subscription service a couple of years ago but I guess enough of us wrote in saying nooooo that they stopped that idea...

The ThyroPhoenix website.

The fund raiser that we did last year brought in enough donations to cover moving the website to a better, much less expensive host. We now have more storage space, more bandwidth and a lot more features, for LESS than the old host!! We are still paid up there until early in 2008.

The ThyroPhoenix domain renewal (that's the address) is coming up, I've set the money aside for that.

As far as other expenses...

Yeah, it's tough keeping things going... My income sucks and I'm having trouble keeping the computers running and keeping me on line. My current crunches are getting my annual ISP renewal (due in a couple of weeks), so that I can be online to participate in the group, and manage it, and to work on the website... and to keep working with all the folks that contact me off list, those too shy to talk about stuff in front of all you guys. And some computer equipment... I'm running out of spare parts when stuff breaks down. For those that don't know, I'm a geeky type and do all that stuff on my own.

I've started adding the donation link to my signature so that if there is anyone that wants to chip in to help with this stuff they can... it's not mandatory, it's not in anyway an income for me... it's just that I'm having a bear of a time keeping stuff going from my end so that I can stay online and keep things running.... It's through PayPal... As soon as funds are sufficient to cover immediate needs I'll drop the link...

The group is not closing

..... though it may be a challenge for me if I can't get online... and the website is staying up for at least another 13 or 14 months, I think it's due date is May, but I'd have to look... I'll probably do another fund raiser for it's renewal after the first of the year....

My apologies to ALL of you for my temper flaring up... I'm usually able to keep it in check...

I need you all, you keep me sane, you help me to learn and to grow... We need to work together, a team, a family, right???

Cindy Sue... thank you... your comments here, you much needed, and appreciated donation, and when we emailed yesterday, it helped me a LOT to put things back into perspective.. and thanks, too, to all the others that contacted me via email and IM to remind me why I'm here.... It really touched me... Dawn, you kept me from going ballistic Friday! Broken arm and hurting from typing, you 'talked' me through it....

Is it a sign of improving health that I got so worked up? I've not done that it a very very long time!

I just sent a nice little donation & I am challanging the group to do the same http://www.thyrophoenix.com/donations.htm It is not cheap to keep the thyro site going. I believe this group is free, but I think alot of us would not be here if it weren't for the Thyro site. SO for those of you that can.....toss a few dollars s way as I know it will help her alot !!
