Breast Micro Calcifications

Has anyone had micro calcifications for 6 months, to have them suddenly

disappear? During my routine yearly mammo, four micro calcifications were

found. I went back for a magnification mammo about 2 weeks later and they were

found. I was told to come back after 3 months for another magnification mammo

... I did today and after 45 mins of them trying to find them again (they were on

my chest wall) they came to the conclusion that they were no longer there!

Great news, don't get me wrong since my sister lost her battle with breast

cancer 3 yrs ago, but weird to me.

Nope, cant help you there.

I may be wrong, but with micro calcifications it is also associated

with Fibrocystic Breasts. I know these can change off and on

depending on monthly cycle and things you eat and drink such as

caffene. Good News they are gone though. I would check with your

doctor to have him explain why they were there for 6 months then gone.

I never had that problem but sometimes caffeine can cause problems. Glad to hear

they are not there anymore.
