Guest guest
As of last night, the City of Eagle Lake adopted a new city ambulance ordinance with vehicle and personnel permitting requirements and permit costs. Rice Medical Center is located in Eagle Lake. The City of Eagle Lake will provide enforcement with Colorado County EMS providing enforcement guidance, complaince, application review, and all inspections. There will be a grace period to allow those services that wish to operate in the City of Eagle Lake time to go through the application and permitting processes. If you have any questions concerning the ordinance and possible varainces, please contact the Eagle Lake City Hall at or the administrative offices of the Colorado County Emergency Medical Services at . Please be patient as we acclimate to our new responsibilities. L. Director

Guest guest
, What happens when a crew from somewhere else enters the city to transport a patient to your hospital, or to pick up a patient from your hospital and take them somewhere else outside your jurisdiction. They would not be permitted in your system. How would you deal with that?
