Guest guest
Hi, all! I just did a search on mayoclinic.com, one of my favorite general health sites, and they still say that muscle burns more calories than fat (www.mayoclinic.com/health/metabolism/WT0006). They do have some interesting things to say about metabolism, as well as calculators for both BMI and calorie usage (how many calories you use during the day). Lately, the BMI (body mass index) chart has been used less and less to determine fitness. But I'm still searching for the debunking of the muscle vs. fat statement.
