Guest guest
We called her " Baby " the way Bogie called Bacall " Baby " . She passed away recently at age 6 months. My uncle fell completely in love with her. I posted a pic of her for the enjoyment of all the animal lovers on this group. Enjoy! Her real name was Marta Joe. I think she is 4 months in the pic. The topic is Anger Management. When I would yell and get angry, Baby would run to to her bed or stand in a corner and shake! I felt so bad, I knew I had to get control of my anger. Guest guest
Redbird, Thanks. My bother( a physician) and my sister feel he is too much for me to handle right now(I disagree). I've been schedule several times to see a surgeon about bypass surgery. They feel it's best for him to stay there until after. My Collie is with me and having him back did make a big difference. Guest guest
I'm so sorry for your and your uncle's loss. She was really pretty! I know I must sound like a nut but I miss my deceased animals more than I miss some of my deceased relatives. > > We called her " Baby " the way Bogie called Bacall " Baby " . Guest guest
> > We called her " Baby " the way Bogie called Bacall " Baby " . She Redbird, I can understand your loss. I had a heart attack Memeorial Day weekend and my Shepherd has been with my sister since then. I have seen once for a few hours. There is a big hole in my heart. Bob Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... Author unknown...
Guest guest
Hello Bob, seems this is the time when you SHOULD have your shepherd with you. Your heart is already mending, and I am sure it would do you good to have your shepherd around. Hope you get to feeling better. I have heard of this rainbow bridge and believe there are animals or the spirits of our pets on the other side. I am sure having your shepherd would lower your blood pressure too. So, call your sis and say bring me my baby back! > Redbird, > I can understand your loss. I had a heart attack Memeorial Day > weekend and my Shepherd has been with my sister since then.
